What's News at Appalachian Community?

The Athens Village, a membership organization founded to give elderly Athens County residents the tools and confidence to continue to live safely and compfortably in their own homes, has served as a model organization for other communities in Ohio and throughout the nation.  Recently, Paul Sobel, of Beachwood, a suburb of Cleveland, met with President of the Board of The Athens Village Ellsworth Holden and Director of The Athens Village Patty Mercer to gather information about setting up a village in his hometown. More from The Athens Messenger.
